      Are you in search of some winter warmers this July? Look no further because the Good Food and Wine Show 2017 is going to be flaming hot and full of good food (as one would expect), amazing wine and incredible people.

      The world’s first ever celebrity chef Marco Pierre White as well as South Africa’s first Michelin starred chef Jan Hendrik Van Der Westhuizen will be headlining this sizzling event. The show has already kicked off in Cape Town and will be meandering up to the Ticketpro Dome in Joburg between the 28th – 30th July and finally ending off in Durban.

      This annual event is anticipated as one of the culinary highlights of the year. With VIP chef experiences at the open theatre, wine tastings, book signings, baking and more on offer, it’s no wonder last year’s show reached a whopping total of over 60 000 visitors. The Good Food and Wine Show 2017 anticipates an even larger number of guests seeking to experience the impressive array of celebrity chefs and personalities, activities, food and wine.

       

      Foodies are sure to have a fabulous time with the abundance of latest trends on display. Not only will you be able to eat and taste delicious food, but you will also get to interact with an stunning line-up of food celebs including Sarah Graham, Jenny Morris, Niell Anthony, Lentswe Bhengu and Sherwyn Weaich, who are all prepared to impress your taste buds. Additionally Lloyd Jusa and Gergory Mutambe, two of South Africa’s finest sommeliers will be there to lead wine lovers through tastings and share from their own wealth of knowledge.

      Even Joao Da Fonseca more commonly known as J’Something, chef and front man of renowned group Mi Casa, will be making an appearance as well as taking to the stage to perform.

       

      The floor will be divided into nine specific exhibition areas: market, street food, gourmet baking, kids, wellness, lifestyle, wine, beer and alcohol. The world’s largest T-rex cake will be making its rounds amongst the vast array of foods from all around the globe. Even little ones will be entertained at the kids baking area. So it is fun for the whole family and something wholesome to fill your weekend up with.
